Can the Democrats’ “Do As I Say, Not As I Do” file get any bigger? Thanks to Jeff Poor at the Business and Media Institute, we now know that the Democratic National Committee is employing the very data mining techniques to build its party base that Democrat leaders have assailed when used by the Bush administration to prevent terrorist attacks.

Where's Joe?
I just watched part of a video tribute to Joe which was rather nice. It made me wonder what he was doing now that all the hype has passed. I wonder if he's still going to sue? Anyone out there keeping up with Joe the Plumber? He's a nice lookin' guy, bet he had gobs of women contacting him!
Can you imagine how his life changed? One day he's a regular old guy hanging out with his kids, working and trying to get ahead. One simple question and wham, his life is crazy.
Now it's done, gone, finished and his life might? maybe? possibly? go back to normal?
I know there was a big push to have him run for Congress. He may have had his fill of government. At least he's gone through the fire and won't be like most novice candidates who have no idea how nasty the game will get!

I wouldn't hire them...
I've done a lot of hiring (and a little bit of firing) over the years working in corporate America.
One of the rules I had when I interviewed someone for a prospective job was that if they badmouthed their current or previous employer or boss in any way, I wouldn't hire them. In fact, I found some way to shorten the interview and get them out of my office.
If someone will badmouth the employer they're leaving then what's to stop them from badmouthing me, my staff, or my company in the future? It says something about their outlook on life and work ethic.
It also showed a high level of stupidity and a complete lack of common sense.
Now we have these dirtbags who think they're saving their own necks by trashing Sarah Palin. Sorry dudes, it's you who should be trashed. I'd like to find the names of all the aides who worked with Sarah Palin and put them out on the Internet work sites and political sites with a big X through their names.
"Do NOT hire these idiots"
I've run numerous campaigns, too.
Campaigns are tough and there's a LOT of stress. Negative personalities should steer clear of that pressure-cooker environment. People who are there to promote themselves are in the wrong business. It's all about promoting those at the top.
When they take pot shots at Sarah, they're also taking those same shots at John McCain. He "hired" her.
It has crossed my mind that there really aren't any aides out there saying these things. It's more of those reporter-fantasy tales we heard during the election. They heard it from someone who heard it from someone who really knows someone who said it. Thus it's true.
Just by virtue of the fact that these dimbulbs are only speaking anonymously says a lot about their personality, backbone, and character. They are quivering, snidely schmucks.

From Heritage Foundation's Morning Bell...
Congratulations, President-Elect Obama
After a hard-fought campaign nearly two years in the making, last night a candidate was elected president of the United States. That candidate promised to “cut taxes for 95% of workers and their families,” expand the Army by 65,000 and the Marines by 27,000, and enact “a net spending cut ” for the federal government. Lower taxes, a strong defense and shrinking the size of government. These are core conservative beliefs. Anyone who claims yesterday’s election was the end of conservatism simply was not paying attention to the campaign.
Despite a political environment that heavily favored the party of the left, Barack Obama still managed only a 5-point margin of victory. Compare that to a true conservative, Ronald Reagan, who bested his liberal opponents by 9 points in 1980 and by 18 points in 1984 . According to last night’s exit polls, Americans who voted yesterday are 34% conservative, 44% moderate and only 22% liberal. As Newsweek admitted earlier this year: “Should Obama win, he will have to govern a nation that is more instinctively conservative than it is liberal.”
There is no doubt the Republican Party has lost its way. Non-defense federal spending has risen 3.74% under President Bush compared to 2.93% under President Bill Clinton and 1% under Reagan. Federal spending now tops $25,000 per household annually, and the coming Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid costs threaten to add another $12,000 per household per year.
Conservatives have a lot of work to do.
One of the many tasks conservatives will happily perform is making sure Obama keeps his promises to lower taxes, strengthen the military and cut spending. The Los Angeles Times reports: “[S]ome Democrats are already debating whether Obama’s promised middle-class tax cut should be scaled back to lessen the hit to the budget. ‘He should be able to persuade the country that some promises are going to have to be put on hold,’ said Will Marshall of the centrist Democratic Leadership Council.” In just 76 days, we are going to start finding out if the next president’s actions will match his rhetoric.
QUICK HITS
Voters in California, Florida and Arizona appeared to be favoring constitutional amendments banning same-sex marriage.
Germany’s energy regulator is urging politicians to speed up the approval of power plants to ensure the country can avoid a looming threat of power shortages.
A Government Accountability Office report found the federal government isn’t doing enough to expedite drilling in federal waters and on public lands.
Two state ballot measures that would dramatically expand California’s use of renewable power and alternative fuels appeared headed for defeat.
Oprah told the Christian Broadcasting Network last night that Obama’s victory was “the most meaningful thing that has ever happened.”

MCCAIN-PALIN CAMPAIGN LAUNCHES HONEST AND OPEN ELECTION HOTLINE
The McCain-Palin campaign launched the Honest and Open Election hotline to help citizens learn the location of their polling place, as well as report any instances of irregularities at the polls, including voter fraud, intimidation, violence and electioneering. The hotline can be accessed via phone at: 866-976-VOTE.
"With the tomorrow's election, our Honest and Open Election hotline will serve as an informative guide for all Americans participating in the electoral process," said McCain-Palin National Political Director Mike DuHaime. "The hotline will allow us to learn about and take steps toward remedying any voter irregularities at polling places across the country. While we are hopeful that Election Day will be free of any wrongdoing, allies of the Democrat Party, such as ACORN, have shown a willingness to commit fraud in both this election cycle and in 2004. Given the tightness of the polls, all examples of fraud must be addressed to preserve the integrity of the election."
In 2004, multiple forms of voter fraud occurred, including voter intimidation, fraudulent registrations, multiple ballots cast and votes bought for money. Already during the 2008 election cycle, a dead woman in Missouri cast an absentee ballot, individuals were arrested for voting twice in Florida and people in Ohio registered and voted on the same day.

Peachtree City Georgia Vote...
Just figured I'd cheer you up a bit:
An election was held today at the Peachtree City Elementary School. Presidential candidate John McCain was declared the winner. McCain received twice as many votes as his opponent.
------
It's sounding better and better out there, keep the faith, get your friends and GO VOTE!!! Make sure no one you know who's willing to vote for John McCain is staying home tomorrow!

Poll watching tomorrow?
I'm going to pick up my credentials this afternoon. If you're going to be a poll watcher, you should have rec'd some training or information with all the rules. Be careful, it can get rough.
Sarah Palin supporters are wearing RED tomorrow! Pull out those red tennis shoes, that red skirt or t-shirt or, if comfort isn't your thing, those red high heel shoes!
We can't wear any partisan paraphernalia, but we can wear red!
I am going to have to pull off my bumper stickers for tomorrow. Hate it, but they'll be back on right after I leave, have new ones in the car ready to go back on!!!
It's not too late to get someone to vote! It's legal to give rides so call your friends and see if they need a ride. You'd be surprised at how many people are registered but don't know where to go vote. Call your friends today and make sure they know where they're going.
We're going to win!

Obama paying people to post on blogs, twitter, etc.???
I love having all the Read My Lipstick Network blogs in my "follow" list, I learn SO much. Thanks to all of my fellow bloggers who dig up info and care to share.
So the goal is to create apathy?
November 2, 2008 rightwingchicky-->
I was listening to some Rush and reading some blogs and came across this tidbit of information. It appears that there have been paid trolls on youtube, twitter, blogs, etc to create a general sense of apathy or the feeling that it is a lost cause. I have seen plenty of these types of postings and they are all very similar in nature. Stick to talking points and frequently insulting people who have opposing views. Always laying claim that there is a landslide win for Obama. (whoever wins will NOT win by a landslide. I believe this will be a VERY close election)

John McCain on Saturday Night Live
He was funny. Loved the expressions! He's going to make a great President!!!
I posted the video on the sidebar to your right. For some reason it shut down Explorer when I tried to post it in here. I think it's because it says "NBC" on the video and my system regurgitated... But for John McCain I persevered and managed to post it on the sidebar for you. I imagine it'll be out on YouTube shortly if it isn't already there, then it'll be postable (is that a word?)

Obama: 'I Will Change The World'
I'm telling you, this man is SCARY. I'm going to go buy a bunch of guns and ammo, stock up on food for a year, put in a garden and stick my money in the mattress if he wins.
Barack Obama has promised to "change the world" if he is elected
Obama: 'I Will Change The World'
With just three days to go he and his opponent John McCain are touring key states in an effort to woo undecided voters. Senator Obama is still almost seven points ahead in the Real Clear Politics poll of polls, but the gap has narrowed slightly.

Sumbuddy else Obama don't know nuttin' about...
OK, so his auntie, the one he wrote so lovingly about in his book, has been living in a slum completely unbeknownst to the great ONE. Even though she attended his 2005 swearing in ceremony... and called him to let him know she was in Boston.
Mr. Millionaire Obama didn't know he needed to share the wealth with his auntie, who also happens to be here illegally... yep, she's an illegal alien. I know you'll get a kick out of readying the story I'm linking to below. Can you tell this reporter didn't want to be writing anything negative about The Obama? The "leak" raises questions? Imagine what would be happening if the media found out McCain had a relative living in a slum... who was an illegal to boot. Obama's campaign is going to try and get past this one by talking about it as a nasty, last minute attack. Typical. Rather than deal with the issue they go on the attack. Unfortunately, many gullible voters seem to be willing to swallow those kind of deflections.
Obama aunt leak raises questions
By CARRIE BUDOFF BROWN 11/1/08 12:42 PM EDT
Obama last heard from Zeituni Onyango, who attended his swearing-in ceremony to the U.S. Senate in 2005, two years ago.
HENDERSON, Nev. — Barack Obama did not know a relative was living in the United States illegally for the past nearly four years prior to today's Associated Press report, "but obviously believes that any and all appropriate laws be followed," the campaign said Saturday in a statement.
The Democratic nominee last heard from Zeituni Onyango, who attended his swearing-in ceremony to the U.S. Senate in 2005 and is a half-sister of Obama's late father, two years ago, when she called to say she was in Boston, the campaign said. Campaign officials said they did not assist her in getting a tourist visa and had not known that she was living in America.
News of Onyango's legal status, which the AP confirmed through sources, including a federal law enforcement official, provided an unwelcome diversion for the Obama campaign during its final push toward Election Day and stoked suspicions among supporters of a political motive behind the timing of the leak.

Obama thinks I'm selfish...
Obama is saying (broadly speaking) that anyone who doesn't buy into his tax plan is selfish.
I beg to differ. No, I don't beg, I'm telling you Mr. Obama, you are SO wrong.
I give and I give mightily. I spend a lot of time helping local charities and sit on a number of working (and I mean working) Boards. I work my butt off in my business, too. I CHOOSE who I give to though, I don't need you or any government hack telling me who I need to give my hard earned money to. (and yes, I know you're not supposed to end a sentence in a preposition)
I would bet that my percentage of monetary giving makes yours look like a distant star in the universe, too. I don't earn money when I give like you did as a "community organizer". I give because I care and because I want to make the world a little bit better.
I don't want to give my money to people who won't get off their backsides and do an honest days labor. I don't want to support illegal aliens, deadbeat dads and those who bilk the system.
I want my money to go to those who truly can't help themselves and those who need a leg up so they can get back on track.
Do you really think that by taxing the so-called rich (those making over $120,000 was the last number I heard from your campaign) and giving it to those who haven't earned it that you'll be helping the world?
Here's what's going to happen to the "rich" folks who are supporting your government:
1. They're going to stop giving as much to charity.
2. They're going to increase the price of their products.
3. They're going to lay off workers.
4. They're going to cut benefits if it's allowed in your authoritarian government.
5. They're going to stop handing out bonuses and raises.
I'm not selfish. It's people like you who expect the government to do it all who are selfish. You wouldn't roll up your sleeves and do an honest days work to help someone unless it involved a photo op with the media.
I don't mind working and I believe in giving. I just don't believe in giving the government the right to choose where I give the dollars I work hard to earn. I do believe in paying my fair share of taxes to keep this great country working like it should. However, when you and your buddies in the Senate take my tax dollars and waste them, you're getting too much from me.
Maybe Martha Stewart had it partially right when she said we'd all have to learn to budget so we could give your government more taxes. She just needs to turn the phrase around to say that you and the rest of government need to learn to budget so you don't need as much from taxpayers.
