Leon Panetta's Daughter a problem in confirmation?

Thus far it seems that no matter what is turned up about Obama's cabinet picks, they're going to sail through the confirmation hearings with only mini-waves of dissent. I've been working on compiling a listing of all the things being discovered about BHO's choices. I couldn't wait on this one... if we were looking at a Bush appointee, this would be enough to kill it and would be front page headlines. Hat tip to P.U.M.A., and to Political Warfare...

Linda Panetta- Anti-Us Agitator, Leon Panetta- CIA Director Nominee… Is there anything wrong with this picture?

While I don’t think it is reasonable to expect Leon to control his grown daughter’s actions, I question the wisdom in appointing as the head of the CIA a man who:
1) Has no intelligence background (although we’ve been informed he is a consumer of intelligence )
2) Has a daughter who is actively lecturing about the negative “implications of US foreign policy and the realities of war.” and who hangs out with enemies of the United States.

If the adult daughter of a CIA Director-designate hangs out with sworn enemies of the United States, it's a matter for the United States Senate to probe aggressively. And so the Senate really has to ask some very pointed questions about Linda Panetta, daughter of President-Elect Obama's pick to lead the CIA, and her ties to Sandinista leader Daniel Ortega and Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez.

Hi ya'll (my southern roots are shinin' through tonight)... During the election there were a LOT of Hillary supporters who moved over and worked their tale ends off for McCain. Some for Sarah, some for McCain, but all against Obama. Quite a few different reasons, but all told I understand that roughly 20% of those who voted for Hillary switched their vote to McCain. Could be higher than that percentage, but that's what was reported. How they figure that one out I'll never know given the varying ways that states keep up with Dem and Rep voters.

P.U.M.A. (Party Unity My Ass ;-) was one of the groups that was really out there in this election and they're still going strong.

Personally, my fervent prayer is that no harm comes to Barack Obama or any member of his family. Despite my lack of respect for the process that brought him into the White House, he is still our President and if he is removed from office before his term is over, it should be through constitutional means, and constitutional means only...

When you consider the fact that Hillary Clinton chose to put personal ambition aside and support Barack Obama’s quest for the presidency, Obama’s latest decision to give his campaign staff humongous bonuses while not lifting a finger to help Hillary retire her debt is just shameful. Then again, Obama has never been a person with whose name virtue is associated....

Wait, maybe I am missing something here, but why are tax-payer dollars being used to engage in a hostile take-over of the US auto industry? In an AP article posted on Yahoo News, here is what we are told:...

The site is a little difficult to maneuver around and figure out where you're going next (and then get back to a page using links once you're a few pages beyond) but it is chocked full of good info and I love the idea, the direction and enthusiasm.
