I'm searching the blogs and Internet for the Democrat

I'm dying of curiosity so I've been out searching for who it might be. My husband speculated that it might be Geraldine Ferraro. She has been fairly supportive of Sarah Palin and said at one point she wasn't sure who she was voting for or that she was considering who to vote for or something like that. Later she said she was voting for Obama so I can't see her switching.

Who could it be? Any ideas?

I have found a few stories on Democrats supporting John McCain.

Trio of Hillary Clinton supporters endorse John McCain
August 25, 2008
DENVER — As Democrats try to mollify disappointed supporters of Hillary Clinton, Republicans pushed the theme Monday that Democrats are divided and open to voting for John McCain.
To try to cement the point, the Republican National Committee’s Denver ‘‘war room’’ presented a trio of Clinton supporters and a former Democratic congressman, each of whom is supporting McCain.
‘‘He is a true statesman who will always put the country first,’’ said Tim Penney a former Democratic congressman from Minnesota, now an independent. ‘‘With Obama, we have words; with McCain, we have deeds. With Obama, we have rhetoric; with McCain, we have a record.’’

MANCHESTER, NH -- The McCain-Palin campaign today announced that New Hampshire State Representative Doreen Howard, a Democratic legislator from Newmarket, has endorsed John McCain for president. Representative Howard previously supported Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's candidacy.

"As a lifelong Democrat who enthusiastically backed Hillary Clinton in the primaries, I am now supporting John McCain. Like Senator Clinton, McCain values the importance of public service. Both Clinton and McCain put country first and that's critically important," said Howard. "John McCain and Sarah Palin are mavericks who have proven they can deliver real reform. As our nation faces challenges at home and abroad, Americans will benefit from their experience, judgment and strong leadership."

Elected in 2006, Representative Howard is a member of the State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs Committee. She represents Newmarket and Newfields.
Representative Howard supported John Kerry in 2004 and Al Gore in 2000.

Prominent Democrats and Independents Join "Citizens for McCain"
June 14, 2008
ARLINGTON, VA -- U.S. Senator John McCain's campaign today announced a group of prominent Democratic and unaffiliated leaders and activists who have joined "Citizens for McCain," a new grassroots effort headed by Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT) to rally Americans of all political parties to support John McCain's candidacy.
"Citizens for McCain is an organization within the McCain campaign for people who put country before political party and support the presidential candidate who has a proven record of bipartisanship," said Senator Joe Lieberman.
